30 and 31 Aug (Mon, Tue): Wayang performances at Ubin

Traditionally, as part of the celebrations of Hungry Ghost Month, wayang performances are held at the Ubin wayang stage. This is NOT a special performance put up for the public, but a part of the way of life of the residents of Ubin. Here is a chance to take part in a dying tradition. Take a bumboat there and enjoy what may be the last of these performances.

Here's a little posting I did on the NDP moblog about the performances.

More on Ubin and how to get there.

Help bring smiles to people who deserve our care and support by actively participating in fun projects in the social service, arts, sports, environment, heritage and more. Discover a whole new way of family bonding while enriching the lives of others in our community! Get a taste of it now!
