NewsAsia 8 Oct 05 Sandcastle Building Centre to be built at East Coast Park By Wong Siew Ying, Channel NewsAsia Building sandcastles is one way to foster bonds and build confidence. Families can now visit a new Sandcastle Building Centre to do just that. Sandcastle building is not just child's play but a purposeful activity that sparks the imagination and promote teamwork. So, NParks is working with Castle Beach, a non-profit organisation, to develop a Sandcastle Building Centre at East Coast Park. It will conduct classes on sand sculpture techniques as well as organise social activities and fund-raising events. NParks said it would continue to seek more partnerships with organisations who have innovative ideas for its parks.
